Why do lifeforms want to live?

Even if they reproduce, they themselves are doomed to to die. Why do so many of us seek extend our lives if possible?

thehustler I do not know how to contact you on the job but when I try to open it says no file found and its a jpg. I only added a box for zip so don't know if thats why or not, its the spinning job from thehustler.
