MelodyRhapsodical I don't believe we're in the Tribulation yet. I believe that'll come at the end of this present age right before Christ and ressurects his faithful followers. It says such in 1 Thessalonians, if I'm not mistaking.

sid556 I have read the bible and the revelations and many books on this subject. Back in the 60's and early 70's it was easy to think that we were on the end of time. Now it seems even more so. I am curious to hear your thoughts.

wifeofharvey I think we well could be, but whether we are or not I think we need to be prayed up, prepared. I think I need to live as if Christ is coming in ten minutes. Even if he doesn't come for 100 years.

steerpyke I am asking this in all honesty and not just to stir things up. If the Bible is seen by many as the infallible word of God, how do you justify so many different versions?

HsuYinFung I personally prefer the KJV and believe it's the most trustworthy version. I have compared other versions and read from a lot of them but I feel the most comfortable with the KJV. If I'm choosing another version to read from it's usually NASB or ESV.

its-logos-plus-logic ...insanely, this is my favorite topic. I love science! And it does not, regardless of popular notion, support the 'theory' of evolution (as to origins). Many well meaning folks try to compromise and say the days of creation were thousands of years long.....
