tmcaligiuri I wish my doctor had warned me of this information. It is good to know that it may be the low muscle tone and not something else. As far as speech therapy, I am going to look into it. Thank you.

tmcaligiuri My doctor didn't mention anything about specific vitamins. Thanks for the suggestion. I will also ask about the ear canal at his next visit. Thanks for the help.

tmcaligiuri Thanks for your insight. It helps to hear of the differences in children's progress. His doctor has set goals for him and his visit is in one month. I am not sure what will happen if he hasn't reached those goals.
