Dream theatre recently switched drummers from Mike Portnoy (founder of the band) to Mike Mangini. Portnoy actually wanted that the whole band took a break for a couple of years but the other guys of the band were'nt to happy with...

tombass yeah Portnoy is definitly one of the best drummers around, if I'm not mistaken he plays (or used toplay) the drums in 'avenged sevenfold'. you should check it out ! Greetz ;)
