The building with no 4th ( fourth ) floor...

I remember in Jakarta, Indonesia I found several building with no 4th Floor. I went in the elevator, and i noticed there's no number 4 button. I know in other places sometimes no 13th Floor. They put 12A and 12B then jumped to 14....

tonger276 I think what Jemina said is very well. In chinese language the pronunciation for the word number four is similar as " ?"(Chinese character) translate into Enlish is "dead". Because most Chinese is very superstition. So on some situation, We don't use it....
