In an anime, what do you look first in the characters?

Sometimes in picking an anime, we also give importance to the characters. What traits, attitudes, looks, voice etc. you want in an anime character? Mine, I like long-haired Girls and somehow silent!^_-

have you ever watch a yaoi anime? or read a manga that is talking about boys love? well an old friend of mine introduce this kind of anime to me. lol i did watched some but not the hardcore ones. I only watch those slash, shounen...

treytakizawa i know yaoi but don't have any chance to watch or read any manga of it... hhaha but it is really interesting... haha!!
