twobits Hmm... well if you want to watch it on your phone, you probably want something like slingbox or simple.tv

twobits Oh, forgot to mention Aereo. If you happen to live in NYC this lets you watch over the air tv live, free for one hour. The main use of it is as a dvr though. This costs $8 a month. They are supposed to be rolling out in more cities soon.

I just saw that steam is having a sale on the new remade versions with HD graphics of the first two monkey island games this weekend. Awesome, and telltale is selling Tales of Monkey island cheaply as well... haven't played these...

twobits Yeah, I almost forgot to get Tales as well before the sale ended. Not going to play it though. I need to get MI4, never did play that one. Was fun to replay the orginal with the new modern graphics and sounds.

How do you get the money for playing wow?

My question is quite simple: How do you get enough money for playing WoW? Or do you pay for it at all (means that you are playing private servers)? I am now having a "pause" in playing WoW because I can't seem to get enough...

Over heating of my lap top?

As I felt the reason for the slow down of my laptop is the overhearing, I installed a software called "Mobile meter" (which is freeware) in my laptop..Now the software shows that the temperature of the CPU is around 45-50 degree...

twobits I said to check the ram/swap space usage, not the cpu usage. In fact you will become IO not CPU starved once you start swapping. Also, you and everyone else is still focused on heat, but the numbers you posted do not indicate overheating at all!

twobits You should be able to view the usage using the Windows Task Manager. I recently saw a windows xp sp3 system a family member was running on a toshiba laptop take up 400+MB of RAM after they had booted up, but before they ran anything. Upped them to 1.5MB of ram...
