What's hanging over your fireplace?

I have absolutely nothing hanging over my fireplace at the moment. I don't know whether to hang a painting or maybe a clock, or buy a plasma tv to hang over it. My husband is dead set against putting a mirror over it as he says...

tyates We are about to hang 2 pieces of 8 ft tin above our fireplace then hang a canvas on top of that. Leave about 7 inches or so on each side of tin to see the wall.
