Does age matter for education?

Now a days there are lots of open universities available for the education, which I think is a blessing. Do you think age really matters for a person to go for education?

ullyses life is a learning curve-we learn something new everyday, so I dont think age matters in any way-I think we focus too much on age and not our capabilities
