Which countries are great for traveling by train?

Have you ever traveled by train in your or another country? If so what was the service like? I especially enjoyed traveling in Australia by train. One of the trains had a club loco car and a shower at the end of each compartment....

unstookietitled Netherlands had a very good train service. fast, smooth and reasonably priced. Everything that British trains aren't.

Has anyone heard any 5 Star albums lately? The last one I can think of is Radiohead's Ok Computer and that came out in 1997.
