Do you sit at the table during meal times or eat in front of the tv??

I like to sit with my family at the table at meal times. I gives me a feeling of togetherness and it also encourages good conversation. It's not possible at all times because a few of us are busy and eat at different times....

vanmantim It depense on what i'm eating and what is on the TV. If i have a roast dinner i like to sit at the table, snacky foods and if there is anything worth watching gets eaten in front of the box.

what do you think of relationships formed over the internet? nowadays there are many sites like match.com,eharmony.com which encourage people to find a partner online. do you think it really works? and isnt it unsafe to trust...

vanmantim I think that internet relationships can be good. Yuo have better level of protection, you have a get out button so to speak. Besides i like the myster side of it, the flirting before things go to far and people getting to involved before thier really ready too...

Why some people posting things at mylot claiming they want an open discussion then they can't accept any response that doesn't 100% agree with them? I see people asking things (especially related to religions or moral issues)...

vanmantim I tend to sit on the fence and try to see things where possible from both side, but as with religion/morals some people can't see the wood for the trees! So it best to walk away and mutter under your breath so to speak and let them live in their own tiny...

I remember the day I was told that I had to wear glasses. I was a foster child to start with and the kids at school hated and teased me. It seemed like I was in a fight every other day and now they tell me I have to wear glasses....
