cutepenguin Congratulations! I found that once my husband began to see the cause of his problems, he was very proactive about fixing things. It has been and will be a struggle, but it's been worth it for us, and I hope you see good results!

Ok, I got this great little job at a coffee house. I love it there except for one thing. When I have to close the store, I have to stay until 630pm, but I only get paid until 6pm. This means that I work 30 minutes off the clock....

scarlet_woman having you punch out early is illegal if he insists you stay til 6:30.on a 5 day schedule,that's 2 hrs 30 minutes you're not getting paid for.

66jerseygirl That is so illegal! I would do something about it. If I were you,I would see if I could get ahold of a free legal advice help line and ask them what to do and that you are working off the clock and afraid of losing your job.

sunshinelady Unfortunatley a lot of bosses do this. You are right when you say that if you get hurt and are not on the clock the companies insurance will not pay. That is why it is not good to do this. There are a lot of people out there wanting jobs so I would assume this...

kathy77 No I have not tried this drink but I have seen it in the shops, someone told me that it tastes similar to coca cola but I do not know how true this is, and I do not drink any of the drinks with sugar in them as I have sugar diabeties.
