why is it good to forgive someone

I think its good to forgive someone because it helps you to move on ...life is to short to be carry someone in your heart with negative emotions...

NikaD Yup, forgive them because, you don't know how long they are going to be around. Case in point: My friend died and we weren't on speaking terms. I never got the chance to reconcile our differences, now it's too late. I've moved on with a lesson well taught.
