Our 6 foot Christmas tree has been completely ruined by our crazy, inquisitive kitten who is using it as a climbing frame. A friend suggested covering tree stalks in lemon juice as a deterrant but that sounds incrediblly...

When holidaying abroad do you usually take advantage of local public transport?

When travelling on holiday in a foreign country, would you normally use public transport to see the the local sites and attractions or do you prefer to hire a car or take sign-up for trips organised by the hotel?
