bblessed I have worked in several nursing homes. I miss some of the people I met while there. I seen people come and go. I am now a sahm-wahm trying to earn a dollar at home being with my kids instead of 18.00 hr.away from them. They grow up so fast.

JoyfulOne That's wonderful! I love working with the elderly too, there is so much to learn from them. I used to love to ask them to tell me about their childhood, or when they were growing up, even the quietest, shyest of them would open up and chat with happiness....

rawpoet I've worked in nursing homes when I used to be a CNA. I also used to do private duty. It was more pay. It felt very rewarding. I love working with the elderly.
