writecheck i agree. Many seem to have a gritty texture. That is why I liked this one. It was very creamy just like regular ice cream.

writecheck I know what you mean. My husband loves ice cream too. This one is the best I've tried. It was the vanilla flavor which is not my usual first choice. I don't know how other flavors will taste. Hope this helps your dad.

writecheck Thanks for responding. Actually this ice cream is sweetened by an artificial sweetener called Splenda. It is supposedly not as bad as aspartame. Anyway, I think it is ok to use in small portions.
