Computer monitor suddenly turn off. What happen?

Does someone know why a computer monitor suddenly turn off? Everything is okay (cable connections, etc). The only problem is that there is no green light on the right corner of the monitor when the button is pressed. You know......

yonas64 i ever had the same problem, the problem is maybe some cable inside the monitor was burn
