zyver41 try http://pixlr.com/ it is a very good online photo editor. It has so many tools and very easy to use. The service is free, and they provide other services for your image too like image sharing.

zyver41 It maybe that your hard drive has so many bad sectors. Try to use some bad sector repair program provided or can be downloaded from your drive's manufacturer website.
