Is it okay to feed chicken bones to my pitbull?

I have a pitbull. Our family loves to eat chicken. I was wondering if i could feed my pitbull the chicken bones that is left behind. I tried and my dog actually ate it. Will it have any bad effect on my pitbull or not?

530546875 You CAN NOT feed cooked chicken or pork bones to dogs. The bones splinter and can cause your dog to choke, also it can cause internal damage to the stomach and digestive system.
