I got the DVD of this movie for my boyfriend for Christmas and we've watched it quite a few times. If I hadn't read the book, I'd probably really love this movie. The actor they have playing Lestat is excellent for the role....

708969154 I disagree. I think that the other books this author has created were much more rich and full of texture. I felt like this book was rushed to meet a deadline, not like th others. The Vampire Lestat was the best of the Vampire Chronicles.
