Where would you choose to live if you are self-employed, and why?

As a self-employed business owner, where would you choose to live in the continental United States, and why? I would personally choose Tampa, FL, due to the low cost of living, close proximity to beaches, and laid back nature...

8000RPM Interesting choice. I actually lived in DC, but moved out due to the uptight people, bad traffic, and extremely high cost of living.
