I just watched this movie after reading the book and was shocked at how badly done it was. There are so many errors and critical parts of the book that were just completely left out! I really wonder what Anne Rice thought/felt...

Artisan219 The movie was not well done, no. The movie combines elements of "The Vampire Lestat" and "The Queen of the Damned" because the two books tell one story really, though the latter is more present tense. For sake of simplicity, they combined Magnus and Marius....

Artisan219 I have nothing against the book being adapted into two 'semesters' as I assume they would be called. However, it seems such a delayed move. Columbus, the director of the first two movies, set a high standard but had the advantage of adapting the shortest books...
