Shouldn't we say "children" instead of "kids"?

A kid is the offspring of a goat but people nowadays are using it to also mean the offspring of humans. Wouldn't it be better if we would just call them "children" instead of "kids"?

Namelesss Young people grow up to be adults eventually turning into old goats. I think the term 'kid' is forward thinking at its best.

Kareng Bare Minerals! They have so many shades of eyeshadow and you can mix them to blend new shades too. The same goes for the foundations, if it is too light add some "warmth" to darken it!
