is text messaging, messing up our spelling?

I have noticed alot of post about people using short form answers to answer post. I have found myself doing this at times as well. 1 problem I noticed since Ive started using text messaging is my spelling is absolutely horrible...

CobraEyes i disagreed with you guys and the reason is, if a man know 2 languages 1 language can disturb other one? i don't think so, it is the same thing short messeging is for chat or sms and if some one know this it can't disturb other proper language.
