How to let go of love without hurting?

Many cases of breaking ups makes two become a mortal enemy. Most get depressed and recovers a long time. Where few becomes man or woman haters. Can't this be avoided? Is there any other way of breaking ups without hurting someone?...

Coria2013 If true that you can always get hurt breaking up. But you have yo choose what kind of hurt that will end in the relationship. Because if you let everything hurt you then when you break up all that hurt comes all at once. So you have a choice to hurt at the end...
