Do animals feel pain?

Crickett I agree that they do, but just because they are living animals doesn't mean that they feel pain. Some simpler animals (sponges, jellyfish) don't have nerves as we do and can only react to stimuli ("pain") in a more diffuse way.

If you had the choice to be anything else than human, which other animal would you like to be? Obviously, I'm also expecting the reasons why you'd like to be one or another. Personally, I'm quite happy to be human, although...
