Crickett I agree that they do, but just because they are living animals doesn't mean that they feel pain. Some simpler animals (sponges, jellyfish) don't have nerves as we do and can only react to stimuli ("pain") in a more diffuse way.

Crickett I think I'd be a giant squid. These things can swim superfast and have great vision. They also travel in groups and hunt at night making them super scary.
