I'm just wondering on how to tell is someone has strep I have had a sore throat today but im sure it is just dry because it is winter time/

I have some irritation in the throat. When i discussed with some friends, they have asked me to talk to the doctor. But i have heard that there are natural ways for this. Can any on help?
