Why do Muslims not eat pork?

I like to know this answer to this question! It is something that has puzzled me for along time. I'm interested to find out why!

ElizU66 Muslims don't eat pork because many years ago apparently Allah (Muslim god) got very very angry with a man and so he turned him into a pig, ever since Muslims have not eaten pork because its like they are eating their own people.
