Does Dove really help with dry skin especially in the winter?

I have tried every soap possible, even the more expensive specialty soaps, and still come back to Dove. It really helps moisturize the skin and prevents that dry winter itch. I even use Dove to wash my face. I highly recommend...

Erin32 Dove soap smells the best, but it never helped my dry winter itch. I have to use lotion after I shower. I only buy it for the smell and it is less drying than Dial soap.
