GnosticGoddess I find this to be very strange. However they do this a lot in third world countries and in tribes as a right of passage. It is certainly something I would not ever do.

3lilangels wow that looks very painful and must hurt like anything,i have 4 nice size tattoos but they are the ink ones,i dont think i would ever do this no matter how popular they were,omg that just looks so nasty.no way could i do that.pattie

dreamy1 That's nothing new. I may be new to the US but some ancient cultures have been doing it for centuries. I have a tattoo but no way would I want to get carved on purpose. I hate pain.

LilyoftheThorns Oh my gosh! I think that is absolutly disgusting. I didn't even like normal ink tattos! I mean for myself, it's fine if other people wanted them. But now this! I can't believe anyone would want to go through this and do this to themselves! Ink tatoos work...
