Paris Hilton out of jail

I just read that Paris got out of jail today- after serving THREE days of her 23 day sentence. Apparently she "couldn't handle it", and gets to spend the rest of her time on house arrest. This makes me so mad- it's just setting...

Kalikala I think what makes me really sad is that she could have really gotten something from the experience. A month of living with nothing could have really changed her perspective, but I don't think you can learn much of a lesson from 3 days.

Kalikala I've learned from it that fiction isn't my genre, but I may try again anyway. It's hard not to get caught up in the excitement! Last year I wrote about half of it within the first 3 days, but then I ran out of steam and ended up at around 40,000 words.

Kalikala Another idea- maybe you could either find a chart or ask your doctor to show them one- about what the healthy, normal weight for girls their age is, so that they can see that they are normal?

Kalikala I agree! I usually travel solo, and I'm pretty clean, so I usually leave $1-2 per day. I can't believe that people will spend $100 on a hotel room, and then not leave a dollar for the housekeeper!

Do your cats sleep with you at night? I can't imagine falling asleep without my cat there! And I love waking up with her snuggled up next to me. So cute! She loves to put her feet up against me while she sleeps.
