Why PSP GO Failed?

I remember when PSP 2000 came out. Most of PSP users forgot about their PSP 1000's and went to buy the new ones. The same with PSP 3000. But why PSP GO never got this popular?

First there was ipod... It was mazing, a player that had 20GB memory. When first Hard Disk based ipod came out we all thought how it is possible to fill 20GB with music because in those days internet was so SLOW. Now 80GB of space...
