we went to temple today. in the food line..all the ladies were cutting in. we were standing in line and there was just cround instead of a line..we finaaly found some end at least it apeared to an end. so as we kinda moved ahead....

JMPILAPIL People who cut lines on a queue are rude and uncivilized. It can only valid if that person is a government official who has the priority for things like that. After all it they're unfair to others.

wolfpackfan I usually let it slide, unless they do it very obviously, then I'll just stare at them or say something (kind of loud) to a friend if i have one with me.

lemar37 Sometimes you have to let people know that you don't like them cutting ahead of you and that they have to wait in line just like everybody else.

militarywife I have found that people in "non-western" countries (Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America...) tend to have less patience for orderly lines. Even after acknowledging cultural differences I still get kind of ticked off when this happens. But I don't say...

kgwat70 I think it is rude for a person to cut in line without asking if they can go ahead of you. If they ask me if they can go ahead because they are in a hurry, I would not have a problem letting them go ahead of me. But when a person just gradually goes up and...

hikarushidou I feel the same way you do too dear. I was in china for a whole week and people there are sooo used to cutting in! I mean dont get me wrong, I have chinese blood but I dont have a habit of cutting in lines coz it makes me mad too. They're so used to doing it...

14missy I agree maybe she was hungry haha. I have been grocery shopping and people (especially older people who should have more manners) push in front of you at the checkout. It is hard to teach your children good manners etc when people around them are not using...

kgwat70 i definitely agree with your comments on what to say to the person if they tried cutting in front of you. If we do not say something to them, they may keep trying to cut in front of people.

patabu74 What i would say to someone if they were to cut me in a line would be, "Excuse me wtf are u doing i am in line here cant you see, and point them in the direction of the back of the line." that might sound mean but hey if in in line and i ahd to wait, then soo...

Peaches1122 I speak up everytime I see this. It is rude behavior. Even if people do not know they are cutting in line, I make sure they know they are and I tell them where the end of the line is.

morenita Usually when someone is rude in this way in any public setting I make it a point of apologizing to them. This causes them to think about what they have just done, most of they are embarrassed by their actions, and almost always apologize and correct the...

babydolphin I say nothing .. what else can I say to people that have no manner?? Or sometimes I usually sort of block them from going in front of me.. or going past me.. hehhehehe I mean it is not fair.. every one is queueing up and waiting while some people just push in...
