Anna It's nice to have a day with no appointments. We had sandwiches for lunch and for dinner I made a "roulade" (see the photo). It's made with chicken breasts flattened and filled with layers of ham, frittata and spinach.

Anna The only inedible part of a pumpkin is the stalk. I planted pumpkins because I love the flowers, we make fritters with pumpkin flowers. We only pick up "male flowers", they do not produce fruits.

Anna I hated the Caribbean islands and I particularly disliked Aruba. I was so glad when my husband dropped the idea to retire there. Alaska would also not be a place I would like I dislike too cold as much as I dislike hot and humid.

Anna Chrysanthemums can withstand cold, they can survive outside down to around 23 F. I like those flowers, even if we only use those flowers to decorate the cemeteries.
