True friends or not?

People often say that online friends aren't true friends. Sometimes the same people who want to be friends on social sites act like they don't know you in person. Should you keep them as online friends anyway?

MakeItPrecious I personally have several friends that i made online, never met them irl though. I understand why people can be wary regarding this issue, but as long as you don't divuldge any important personal information, there's nothing to be worried about.
