how to get egg off windows?

just recently moved into a new house...the windows have been egged from the lovely kids who live around here!... never had to clean dried in eggs off a window...whats the best way to tackle it? caz

MiGlassMan Beware: Using rasor's to clean "stuff' off window's can scratch low quality heat-strenghtened or tempered glass. But using such a blade is the best way to get dryed and hardened egg off; Be sure you get a Razor holder type tool, don't just use the blade alone;...

paper towels or newspaper my pap is trying to tell me they would better i think he is just cheap.LOL

MiGlassMan I'v been a professional window cleaner for over 30 years; and Paper towels work better than newspapers, the myth about using newspapers to clean windows must have been started by someone that wanted to protect the window cleaning trade. FYI; Pro's don't use...
