MinxieMopp What about a wooden run enclosed on all sides and on the roof too! Or a chicken arc, that way your pig can have some sun and be completely safe. I do not let mine free range around the garden but I use runs and arcs when it is very warm.

MinxieMopp Shin splints can be a serious problem. I would contact your doctor. I knew of someone who had this and had to have his shins 'shaved' and was layed up for a while. If you are young though it may just be growing pains but a trip to your GP will not hurt. Good...
