i bought windows vista!!!

i am trying to upgrade from widows 98 to windows vista,but it won't let me.any suggestions on why or what i could do.do i have to pay another $100.00 to $150.00 for tech support from microsoft?help!!!

Putz44 Well first off you can't upgrade from 98 to vista with reformatting your HD... also you might wanna look into getting Killdisk... wiping it completely free of any lost or garbage data.. then reformat it then load vista from CD rom.
