RunningBlind Oh and the best clipper to use is the one with the hole where the dog's nail fits right inside the hole and cuts it. The regular style clippers can make it too uneven and sharp.

Is it possible to ever teach these dogs to come immediately when called or will they always stand there and stare at you for a minute? It drives me nuts!

RunningBlind It's after the command though! Me: "Come on!" Dog: *duhhhhh* 30 seconds later *mad dash with tail wagging* I hate it! Now that I think about it, I know a Vizsla who does the same thing.

RunningBlind I've never really had to leave my dogs. But if I did, I'd worry more about the worst thing the dogsitters would do to my dog. lol Feed something he can't have, not watch him good enough so he ends up roadkill. etc.
