Would you lend money to your friend?

I've been told time and time again that I shouldn't lend money to a friend, or at least avoid lending money, since this may eventually cause friction between the two of you when it's time to pay up. Either you'll get frustrated...

Sethcmg I've noticed that if you're careful about who you lend it out to then it should not be a problem. If you trust one friend, lend it to them. But at the same time if you have a not-trustworthy friend then just avoid lending them anything all together.
