My son is having a reaction to ADHD meds

My son is 9yrs old, he is currently on Vyvanse before he was on Adderall. He has had this ongoing reaction to the meds, where he is licking his lips. I'm not sure what to do, if I give him regular chapstick it seems to make it OK....
