clashing_titan we have got all the self flushing ones here..but rarely if its manual i dont flush at all...its irresponsible people like me who make em nasty!

jray721 my last 3 months i was preggo with my 1st son was during the hot and humid summer months. june, july, AND august. i didnt deliver till the end of august. it was REALLY rough !!

elementalcure I got pregnant in June 2005, we found out on July 17th (you never forget!). I was 8-9 months pregnant in late winter/early spring. My son Luke was born exactly on his due date, March 13th, via c-section!

4monsters4me I hated being pregnant in the summer. My oldest was born at the end of June 2000. It was so freaking hot before and after that I stayed inside for almost 2 months straight. My next two were born in October 2001 and November 2002. It wasn't much better...

stevethedisneyfreak excellent discussion point well done! I have a 7 year old and he does get some pocket money for doing some jobs, like keeping his room tiby, if he doesn't do it no money. seems to work for me

Jadedjoilea I think 5 is a good age for them to get allowance or money compensation for the chores they do. I beleive its a good age because thats also the age they start school.

Signal20 As far as age, that's a tough one IMO. You could start at about 4 or 5, give them a buck a week or so, they don't have a real concept of money that young. A dollar makes them happy lol. And start with minor chores, like getting the trash from all the rooms....

shellyrios I'm going to say about 10, when you start introducing chores, and duties of responsibility and then decide a reasonable weekly amount to encourage and motivate them to "work for their allowance." This is what I do with my kids.......
