Sporean Hi twilight021, If you like "The Stand", you should try "Talisman",his collaboration with Peter Straub and it's sequel "The Black House". Both were great books.

Sporean Hi breepeace, "The Stand" was a great book. I think it was published in the mid 80s'. You should try some of King's earlier works like "The Shining" and Salem's Lot. Those were great books.
