ThePittsburghGuy My cat has some odd hobbies as well. She loves to lay in the sunlight, and on remote controllers, which is pretty normal. But she LOVES olives straight out of the jar. She will lick them, play with them, but will not chew or eat them. Its funny to watch her...

ThePittsburghGuy I think the first thing i would secure would be my family members, if any were in my house, as well as pets. Insurance would hopefully cover most material items but im sure id grab some things on the way out.
