My friend bought a laptop yesterday. She wants to install the latest Windows vista version. Some friends said Linux is a better option as it's faster than Windows. Can you suggest which one's better?

The_Undead Does ur friend even knows what's the configuration of the laptop has to be to meet Vistas standard? And the cost? And the support, the anti sypware, firewall, blah blah blah. My pick would be Linux...but I'm pretty certain 'she' would settle for Window XP...

Hi! i recently saw (for the 20th time!!) the movie "The Doors". Boy, does Oliver Stone know how to make movies?? And how smugly Val Kilmer fitted into the shoes of Jim. It was amazing to see the movie again & again!! i cant just...

The_Undead Yup...have seen it as I am a big time fan of Jim Morrison poetry. The storytelling was not entirely convenient for less knowledgable door fans. Screenplay could have been better. But overall, it was worth the money I dished out for the DVD.

The_Undead You can't compare aples with oranges....Maiden are the father of "New wave of British Heavy Metal" or the NWBHM. Metallica is one of the Big FOUR in thrash metal (other 3 are Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax). Oparatic Vocals of Dickinson can never be compared to...
