iPod or else?

Do we have to get an iPod? Can we not just get a different MP3 player? Could it be possible that some other company on the planet makes good players?

Trish012 I just got a neat little 5.0 megapixel camera that is also a multimedia player. It only has 128mb of storage to keep MP3's but really, that's all I need. For the price, it's great.
