Is Public Speaking really that HARD???? WHY??

Public speaking is somehow hard to do for certain ppl. However, some can do public speaking effortlessly. For me, i initially struggle doing it whenever i stand in front of a croud i start to tremble wishing the floor would suck...

Everyone have something they fear!! However, fear is only an emotion create by our human brains. So what do you fear of?? How to overcome such fears?? Or can they ever be overcome??
