I've never enjoyed it until recently. I am now in a place in my life where I can take a little time and experiment with some recipes. I admit to being kinda...hooked on the "Food Network" there are soooooooo many good cooks...

Wall clocks then and now

Every room in our household had either a timepiece or a wall clock. We even had striking wall clocks striking at different times which was kind of odd. Today we have just two - one is a cuckoo clock that strikes at wrong hours...

How many of you will buy items from "used" stores?

I know a lot of people refuse to purchase items from used stores. I personally don't see anything wrong with buying something at a fraction of the cost, often never used or gently used and saving some money. I do have my things...

afg2007 I feel there is nothing wrong in buying stuff from used stores as long as they are in good condition...but definitely not used clothes!!!

6 years ago I moved from England to the Canary Islands (Spain) because I adore the sun, love being outside when it's hot and hate the cold. I am spending Christmas at my partner's house in Scotland and it is below freezing!...

afg2007 ohh i love winters wen der is no sun....u can actually look at the sun directly and feel great about it! and the warmth of the blanket in the nights simply wont let u get off from ur bed in mornings...and the most wonderful thing...u can actually sleep more...
