I to feel this way. After reading each of the books I replay the book over and over in my head untill the movie release then off to the movies to see what they left out. I was dissapointed when they made the final LOTR and Star Wars, I think it is going to be...

You describe exactly how I feel each and every time I pick up a HP book to read. Even though I've read them time and time again, I still get goosebumps at Nick's Death Day Party, I get an adreneline rush when Harry is battleing the dragon, and cry each and...

As long as Harry lives and Voldemort dies, I will be satisfied. If Harry doesn't survive, I don't know if I will ever want to read the books or watch the movies again. I think that would be a betrayal of all the fans. But, that's just my opinion.

We have no way of knowing where Harry & Ginny are living, I'm guessing in Sirius' house. I also assume that Kreature is there, even if he's a free elf now. House elves live to serve, even Dobby, while free, felt the need to be useful. No, they didn't...

I think the writer ain't very concern about letting you know those things. Telling what everybody becomes will take damn lot of pages. I myself didn't ask such questions after I finish reading. I don't think I care a lot about them as well. Somehow, the book...

And I also found it a bit amusing, the epilogue. If we look at the timeline, harry's born in 1980 right? So the 7th book happened in 1997. He's 17. So add 19 years to that, he's supposed to be 36 already. But if he's born in 1980, he should only be 27 right...

I'm assuming that McGonagall is the headmistress now, if she's still alive in time of the epilogue. I guess Mrs. Rowling did that because she wanted us readers to fill it in for ourselves. Maybe she would answer those questions in an interview later on, but...

I totally agree with the eyes comment. Snape wanted to see his life love's eyes as the last thing he saw.

I think Harry having his mothers eyes came into play when Snape died. He asked Harry to look at him. I think perhaps because he loved Lily so much he wanted the last thing he saw to be her eyes.

I think Tonks' mom raised Ted. I think George continued in the joke shop in Fred's memory. I think Kreacher continued to work at Hogwarts, because I don't think Harry would want a house elf. I thought I remembered Fawkes in this book, but I may be mistaken....

That makes sense, I didn't even think of that! Still, Harry & Ginny's kids had such sentimental names that I was surprised by Rose & Hugo.

The only connection I could come up with for Rose and Hugo is that those names shared the Same firs letters as Ron and Hermonie (R+H). But it did surprise me they did not name one of them Fred.

Headmaster/Mistress - I think McGonagall. It makes sense to me. And she certainly showed great leadership in preparing for the Battle of Hogwarts

I would presume that Tonk's mother raised Ted. My guess for George is that he continued the joke shop, and perhaps married the cute girl from the shop who we saw in book 6?? I wasn't expecting Fawkes to return in book 7, but when Hedwig died I hoped that...

I don'tk now if Tonk's mom raised Ted. The reason was, well, Harry was godfather, and at the end, they say that he still comes over for dinner 4 nights a week--they may as well ask him to move in. I'm guessing that Harry and Ginny raised him. I'm also assuming...
